01  Is my donation to NARA tax deductible?

The answer is Yes. NARA, National Addiction Recovery Association is a licensed 501C3, Non-Profit Corporation, fully recognized by the IRS to take donations from businesses and private individuals.

 

 

 

 02  What makes NARA different than other       
            Addiction and Recovery Charities?

​

NARA is the National Addiction Charity with an objective voice fighting for and with the patients and families suffering from the scourge of addiction to providing for better education and a cure.

 

We have no financial affiliation, ownership, or incentive to work with any specific Treatment Centers or addiction recovery providers. Thus we are non-biased in our efforts to provide information to those struggling with addiction and their family members as well as to find a cure. We welcome input and suggestions from all areas of addiction cure research and addiction recovery providers both traditional and nontraditional. As we are searching for a cure and will leave no stone unturned in that regard.

 

 Our National Projects are unique and impactful, and will ultimately result in better communication, education, and hopefully unification, for the Addiction Recovery Community nationwide.

 

 

 

 03  Can I donate items like a vehicle, software, office equipment,
              or educational scholarship, instead of money?

The answer is Yes, and the items are tax-deductible based on their current value.  We simply ask that you contact the Charity first and have a discussion regarding the items you are looking to donate, and if NARA cannot use them, we might be able to point you towards a great regional addiction charity or cause near you.

 04  If I want to volunteer with NARA, what kind of work would I be
             doing?

Presently The Charity is recruiting volunteers to help in the following areas: 

• General Outreach and Education; 

• SEO, Social Media, and Graphic Design;

• Broadcast Programming and Network TV;

• Healthcare IT Development and SIO Level Security Work.

 05  Is there a way to “check in” or stay in touch periodically to
             see the progress NARA is making as well as get info on new
             developments.

Yes. Once you have donated to NARA, you can opt to become a member of our Community, and automatically receive our Newsletter, alerts for our Press Conferences, and ongoing Project Announcements.
